JOIN THE RICE MS PTA FOR 2025-2026!
Support Rice Middle School students and teachers by showing that you value your child’s education by joining the PTA. Your membership helps pay for student programs, parent education programs, teacher resources, student socials, and so much more! While we encourage you to be involved however your time and talents allow, joining PTA does not obligate you to volunteer. It’s simply the easiest and most affordable way to be involved in your child’s education. As a benefit to members only, you will have access to an online directory as well as PTA member discounts.
This year we are striving to have one member of the PTA for every student of the school. By joining, you are helping us give every child a voice on issues directly affecting their school experience. Please help us reach our goal!
Single Membership is ONLY $20.50 for the ENTIRE 2025-2026 school year, and additional adults in same household only $8.50. Student's can also be members for only $8.50.

PISD ANNUAL REGISTRATION and VOLUNTEER BACKGROUND CHECK
Every year, students need to register for the current Academic Year (2025-2026). Parents may do so on the SKYWARD platform.

Parent Volunteers must also re-apply for their Volunteer Application every year in order to be able to volunteer on any PISD campus.
Their Voly system is now open for volunteer applications: Volunteer Application. (Please remember to select which campuses you will be frequenting so that their system has your name)

SPIRIT WEEK AT HANDEL'S!
The 2025-2026 Reflections Theme has been announced! This year's theme, "I Belong!" was Ben Morgan from Lewis and Clark Middle School PTSA in Idaho. His theme will be used to inspire hundreds of thousands of artists across the nation as they participate in the PTA Reflections art program. Congratulations to Ben and Idaho State PTA on this achievement!
It's not to soon to start planning for your project now!
Reflections has been a staple arts program in many schools for over 50 years. Through the efforts of our Local PTAs, millions of students have found a creative outlet in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.

members do every day. Enroll at kroger.com/account/community rewards. Search for Rice Middle School PTA, or use our organization number: XV558. Then use your Kroger Plus card every time you shop to support PTA!
Box Tops for Education now offers an easier way to raise money for Rice MS PTA! 
Simply download the Box Tops for Education app and use it to scan your receipt each time you shop. No scissors necessary and credits are given to Rice MS PTA immediately.
