Volunteers Needed for upcoming School events

Ravenfest Ticket Distribution Volunteers Needed - May 1st, 2026

We’re looking for volunteers to help with Ravenfest ticket distribution during A, B, and C lunches on May 1st. Multiple time slots are available between 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM to hand out pre-packaged wristband and ticket bundles that will already be sorted and ready to go. This is an easy and helpful way to support a fun event for our students.

Ravenfest Event Volunteers Needed - May 1st, 2026

Ravenfest is coming up, and we need volunteers to help make it a fun and memorable event for our students. There are lots of ways to pitch in, including setup, snacks, popcorn, pizza, frozen treats, dance party, inflatables, yard games, floaters, and cleanup. Whether you can help with games, food stations, or just jump in where needed, there’s a role for everyone, and every bit of help makes a difference.

Teacher Luncheon:

Help us show our love and appreciation for the amazing Rice teachers and staff at our upcoming Teacher Luncheon on Thursday, May 8. Volunteers are needed beginning at 8:30 AM, with multiple time blocks available, to assist with setup and help serve lunch. It’s a simple but meaningful way to support the PTA and celebrate our wonderful educators.

JOIN THE RICE MS PTA FOR 2025-2026!

Support Rice Middle School students and teachers by showing that you value your child’s education by joining the PTA. Your membership helps pay for student programs, parent education programs, teacher resources, student socials, and so much more! While we encourage you to be involved however your time and talents allow, joining PTA does not obligate you to volunteer. It’s simply the easiest and most affordable way to be involved in your child’s education. As a benefit to members only, you will have access to an online directory as well as PTA member discounts.

This year we are striving to have one member of the PTA for every student of the school. By joining, you are helping us give every child a voice on issues directly affecting their school experience. Please help us reach our goal!

Single Membership is ONLY $20.50 for the ENTIRE 2025-2026 school year, and additional adults in same household only $8.50. Student's can also be members for only $8.50.

PISD ANNUAL REGISTRATION and VOLUNTEER BACKGROUND CHECK

Every year, students need to register for the current Academic Year (2025-2026). Parents may do so on the SKYWARD platform.

Parent Volunteers must also re-apply for their Volunteer Application every year in order to be able to volunteer on any PISD campus.

Their Voly system is now open for volunteer applications: Volunteer Application. (Please remember to select which campuses you will be frequenting so that their system has your name)
