Rice Middle School PTA 2021-2022 OPEN POSITIONS

Thank you to the many parents who have volunteered their time to support Rice as a volunteer next year. We truly appreciate you! Many positions have been filled but a few last ones remain open, so take a look and see if you would be willing to volunteer and support our school!

Copy Chair. The Copy Chair coordinates the Rice copy room volunteer sign-ups and reminders and trains new volunteers on copy and laminating procedures. They monitor the volunteer needs of the copy room throughout the year as we help support Rice with photocopying requirements.  

Multicultural Chair.  Promote understanding of and respect for cultural diversity at Rice.  The Multicultural Chair coordinates, promotes and participates in a Fine Arts Night program (Multicultural Night) and multi-cultural programs  in cooperation with the school principal/staff. 

Health & Youth Safety Chair. The Health and Youth Safety Chair is  responsible for promoting programs and service that foster health education for students and youth safety in the community in cooperation with the school principal/staff. Areas could include drug awareness, road safety and healthy eating. 

Environmental Chair. Would you like to promote environmental awareness at Rice? The Environmental Chair works with the Rice staff/principle to  coordinate, promote and participate in environmental awareness programs with the school and community.
